Description
There's an hour when Tokyo stops belonging to everyone and becomes the city of a few. When the neon is still on but the streets empty out, and all that's left is whoever truly belongs to the night.
This series follows an outsider through the Tokyo that never makes the postcards: the one of vending machines, phone booths, tiny izakayas and taxis under the rain. Someone who wasn't born there but moves as if the place were his. Distance and belonging at once.
A portrait of the night as territory and of the outsider as its only inhabitant. Streetwear not as product, but as identity: the clothes of someone who inhabits the hours when the city lowers its voice.
